Cotypist shows suggestions when you are typing at the end of a line. If your cursor is in the middle of existing text, suggestions may not appear.
As a workaround, try inserting a newline where you'd like to continue typing. Cotypist will then treat it as the end of a line and show suggestions. Once you're done, remove the temporary newline to rejoin the text.
The AI model download can take a while depending on your internet connection. If the download stalls or fails repeatedly, you can download the model file directly and place it in the correct folder.

After downloading, place the file in the Models folder. You can open it from Cotypist's settings, or navigate manually to:~/Library/Application Support/app.cotypist.Cotypist/Models/
Then restart Cotypist.
